An Oak Tree of Exposition
An Oak Tree of Exposition
A Collection of Sermons by Earle L. Wilson
Author: Colleen Derr
An Oak Tree of Exposition is a collection of fifteen original, best-loved sermons written by Earle L. Wilson over his sixty-five years of ministry.
Earle Wilson led from the pulpit as a pastor, as a college president, and as General Superintendent of The Wesleyan Church. He inspired, he taught, he corrected, and he cast vision through sermons. He desired to keep the Wesleyan spirit alive and challenged the current generation to act in a way that would preserve the church for generations to come. He saw it as his sacred trust to preserve and carry the message of holiness forward and to call the church to action.
Through Scripture, exposition, song, and poetry, the reader will be challenged and convicted to continue the spiritual legacy handed to this generation and to finish well.
